The car air conditioning compressor makes an abnormal sound, but can still cool. Why?
For example, insufficient power generation from the generator, too high pressure in the air conditioning system, or excessive engine load can cause repeated engagement of the electromagnetic clutch.
If it only occurs when the air conditioning is turned on, the possible reasons are as follows: Too much or too little refrigerant filling, resulting in flow noise when passing through the expansion valve; too little lubricating oil inside the compressor, resulting in friction noise due to insufficient lubrication; the compressor resonates with other parts of the gear train at a certain speed, resulting in abnormal noise; the compressor itself has large suction and exhaust pulsations, which are transmitted to the air conditioning box through the air conditioning pipeline and amplified to produce abnormal noise.
